General information
The YWCO adult soccer league is the premier soccer experience in Athens, Georgia, and boasts four divisions for players of all ages, genders, and skill levels. Starting with 11 teams in 1994, the past twenty years have seen the league grow to upwards of 40 teams with 20 weekly games and over 400 participants.
All divisions of the YWCO Adult Soccer League are played using a 7-a-side format. All teams must have a minimum of five players on the field to play.
Divisions
Coed division
Teams are comprised of male and female players. Teams must participate with 2 female players on the field at all times.
over 35 division
A league only for adults over the age of 35. Must provide proof of age prior to participation in this league.
Competitive Division
Available to all players, teams can be composed of any variation of male, female, or aged players. Slide tackling is permitted in this division.
