What We Do…
Girls Club focuses on educational and recreational activities that build self-confidence, encourage educational achievement, and promote healthy lifestyles. To accomplish this, the Girls Club curriculum includes reading lessons, career discovery, job training skills, nutrition education, financial literacy, and traditional camp activities.

We are currently working on the scholarship application form and want to make sure it is the best it can be to support and help families who may need financial assistance. We appreciate your patience as we finalize it.
If you have already completed the registration form and paid the $25 fee, please email the Girls Club at girlsclub.ywco@gmail.com to let us know that you need a scholarship application. We will send the form to you as soon as it is available.
Registration Process
All registration this year will be going through campsite. For any questions regarding registration, please call the YWCO at 706-354-7880.
If you cannot pay your registration fee online, please stop by the front desk at the YWCO (562 Research Drive Athens, GA 30605) between the hours of 9:00AM-5:00PM to make the payment. Please ask for Heather, or Tori. Applications will not be processed through until the payment has been received.
Scholarship Application Process
We are committed to making our programs accessible and encourage all eligible applicants to apply. Thank you for your interest in participating in our program. All guardians interested in scholarships are required to complete and submit the official scholarship form, which is available through the Google Form. Please ensure that all sections of the form are completed accurately and in full, as incomplete submissions may not be considered.
The application form is designed to collect important information necessary for the review process. Applicants are encouraged to carefully read each question and provide thoughtful, thorough responses where applicable. Once submitted, responses will be reviewed by our team, and selected applicants will be contacted with further information regarding next steps.
If you encounter any difficulties accessing or completing the form, or if you have questions regarding eligibility, requirements, deadlines, or any other aspect of the application process, please do not hesitate to contact us. How to Apply
Scholarship Deadline: May 13th, 2026
To be considered for a scholarship, you must complete the following steps:
Complete the Registration Form
All applicants must first complete the official program registration form.Pay the $25 Registration Fee
A non-refundable $25 registration fee is required at the time of registration in order to move forward in the process.Submit the Scholarship Application Form
After registering, fill out the scholarship application in its entirety and provide all required supporting documentation.IMPORTANT: The registration fee must be paid in order to be reviewed for scholarship.
Please note that submitting a scholarship application does not guarantee approval. Scholarships are awarded based on eligibility, available funding, and review of the information provided. Each application is carefully evaluated, and awards are limited.
Incomplete applications, missing documentation, or unpaid registration fees may result in delays or disqualification from consideration.

For Girls entering K - Girls entering 7th grade
Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Extended Day until 5:30 p.m.
Early Drop-off at Howard B Stroud Elementary School - 8:00 a.m.
$50 Weekly or $60 for Extended Day
One-time $25 Registration Fee (includes a camp tee)
Lunch Provided
Morning and Afternoon Transportation to/from YWCO and Pinewood Estates
